Lords of the Fallen: Breathtaking Visuals and Mode Selection Powered by Unreal Engine 5

Scheduled to release this year on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, “Lords of the Fallen” emerges as a dark fantasy action RPG. Developed with the prowess of Unreal Engine 5, it promises an astonishing visual experience, inclusive of real-time global illumination.

Players will traverse two distinct worlds and have the liberty to customize every facet of their protagonist. The game offers two graphical modes: Performance Mode delivering 1080p resolution at 60 fps, while Quality Mode ensures 1440p at 30 fps.

Serving as a sequel to the 2014’s “Lords of the Fallen”, this title draws inspiration from the renowned Dark Souls series. In this installment, players step into the shoes of a warrior combating demonic forces in the realm of the living. Yet, adventures also await in Umbral, the domain of the dead. Seamlessly shifting between these worlds, players will confront diverse challenges in each.

The visuals, propelled by Unreal Engine 5, mesmerize with lifelike lighting and shadows, further enhanced by the ray tracing technology. With over 100 equipment pieces to mix and match, players have full agency over the appearance of their character. Between Performance and Quality Modes, players can opt for a swift gameplay experience or immerse in deeper graphic details. The Hexworks team believes that Unreal Engine 5 elevates the technological benchmark, providing ample room for creativity.

“Lords of the Fallen 2” stands as a promising chapter, with Unreal Engine 5 under the hood. The dual worlds await exploration, and characters can be tailored to player preferences. Both graphical modes cater to varied tastes, and the title is set for release on the aforementioned platforms this year.
