Like A Dragon Gaiden Will Come With The Next Game’s Demo [VIDEO]

Two games from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio will be discussed, so it’s better to summarize what they say about them.

First, there’s a recap video of Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, which could be called Yakuza 7 Gaiden. Masayoshi Yokoyama, the studio’s director, said, “We were planning to save more detailed information about the game until just before launch, but we wanted to respond to your excitement. Therefore, we decided to bring you a more in-depth look at the story and gameplay. Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name tells the story of Kazuma Kiryu, who chose to fake his death and disappear from the public eye to protect his loved ones. For fans who have enjoyed the series since Yakuza: Like a Dragon, this title will provide the best insight into the personality of Kazuma Kiryu. How will his story unfold as he fights against his enemies? Please enjoy the battle action and experience it for yourself. There is so much more I would like to share with you, but we prepared a new trailer to showcase the story and gameplay instead.”

If you buy the game, you will also get a Special Trial Version of Yakuza 8 called Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Yokoyama also said, “As you may have been surprised to see, we include a special trial version of next year’s Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth as bonus content with the purchase of Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. As the name implies, special content like scenes not included in the main game will be unlocked after completing Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.” So there will be a kind of tying, but since it doesn’t come with a premium, it’s not a bad move.

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 9. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will arrive on the same platforms in early 2024.
