Finally Bloodborne Remaster coming?! It’s Supposedly Coming to PS5 and the Release Year is Known As Well!

Fans of Bloodborne have long been clamouring for a remaster that takes advantage of the power of new generation hardware. Now, a leaker has revealed that a remaster is coming in 2025, which will not only be prettier, but will also feature new content.

Bloodborne was one of the best games FromSoftware made on PlayStation 4. The game is set in a dark and gothic world where players battle monsters and other horrors while discovering the secrets of the city of Yharnam. The game features stunning graphics, atmospheric music, a challenging combat system and an exciting storyline.

The game was released in 2015, and since then many have hoped that it would one day receive its own remastered version that would better harness the capabilities of the new generation of consoles. Rumours of a remaster have been circulating online for years, but no official announcement has been made yet. Now, however, a new source says that the Bloodborne remaster will be released for PlayStation 5 in 2025.

The leaker in question, “I’m a Hero Too,” has already proven its credibility by posting the existence of Persona 3 Reload before its official announcement. It also went into more detail about the yet-to-be-announced Final Fantasy IX remake. He recently shared more interesting information on Sony Interactive Entertainment’s future projects and more on the Snitch Discord server. In regards to Bloodborne, the leaker revealed that a remaster version is indeed in the works and is targeting a 2025 release date, which would make sense since that’s when the game will celebrate its 10th anniversary. The development, like the rumoured Horizon Zero Dawn remaster, is being led by Nixxes studio, not Bluepoint Games, which is working on two other projects. In addition, an A1 anime series based on FromSoftware’s action-RPG is also in development.

With at least two years to go until Bloodborne’s remaster is released, it’s unlikely we’ll see it at the State of Play event in the near future, even later this month. The September 2023 event, like last year’s, will focus on developments from Asian studios, which is not surprising given that Tokyo Game Show 2023 is also taking place this month. One of the games to be showcased at the event is the open-world Project.

The leaker also shared information about other Sony projects besides the Bloodborne remaster, including new IPs from Santa Monica Studio and Naughty Dog, as well as new collaborations with Marvel. He also revealed some new details about Kingdom Hearts 4. As the game has only been seen running on PlayStation 5, just like Persona 6, there is a possibility that both could be PS5 exclusive titles. According to the leaker, we’ll next see a Riku-focused trailer for the fourth installment in the series.

Overall, although Bloodborne remaster has been rumoured for a long time, any newly released information should be treated with caution. However, the leaker has proven its credibility on several occasions, so there is a possibility that we could return to Yharnam in the future to relive the thrill of the hunt in a form never seen before.
