In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you’ll be able to sneak around in style in the guise of none other than Ezio Auditore!

 

 

Ubisoft is taking the Assassin’s Creed series back to its roots with Assassin’s Creed Mirage. For those who have played it, this is what veteran fans have been waiting for. But the developers are also trying to please fans of the series in other ways.

Not only the stealth, the significantly smaller map size and the story, but even the character outfits will be reminiscent of the good old days, if this news proves to be true.

The Legacy Outfits aren’t exactly new to the series, but their inclusion was inevitable for a game that seemingly prides itself on being similar to older games.

One suit gives players the chance to dress up as everyone’s favourite assassin, Ezio Auditore. Specifically, his appearance in Assassin’s Creed Revelations, which some fans consider the pinnacle of the series.

The costume was revealed by Andy Reloads via Twitter. Apparently, the outfit is coming as part of a DLC. Whether it is part of a suit pack or a standalone download has not yet been confirmed. Regardless, the inclusion of this apparent hint that other Legacy Outfits will be included in the game. These probably belong to other known assassins such as Edward Kenway, Connor Kenway or Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad.

The next game in the series looks incredible. It will be a precursor to several other Assassin’s Creed games currently in development at Ubisoft. Each of them will treat us to new characters, new locations and new moments.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on 5 October for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
