Samsung Galaxy S24: Double Storage For Pre-Orders?

TECH NEWS – Now there’s really nothing left to leak about the new range of phones launching in two weeks!

Rumors suggest that Samsung will send out invitations for its Galaxy Unpacked event later today, but it’s not yet official what bonus the South Korean company will give for pre-ordering any of the three Galaxy S24 models. An insider, yeux1122, wrote on his Naver blog that pre-ordering any of the models (S24, S24 Plus, S24 Ultra) will get you more storage at no extra charge (for example, the base S24 will get 256 GB instead of 128 GB, but this is not recommended because the 128 GB edition has the slower UFS 3.1; the S24 Plus will get 512 GB instead of 256 GB; while the S24 Ultra will get 1 TB of storage instead of 512 GB).

256GB should be a minimum, as Samsung tends to skimp on microSD storage expansion on its devices. But there are other pre-order bonuses: discounts on Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds FE products. It’s not known how much of a discount pre-orderers will get. Keep in mind that Samsung hasn’t confirmed all of this yet, and won’t until January 17 (when the Galaxy S24 trio will be unveiled).

Meanwhile, in Brazil, retailers have started advertising the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Note that this has not even been officially announced by Samsung yet! But it has and the marketing says “Galaxy AI is here”, so that’s what the South Koreans will build on in their marketing. There was also another picture of a Galaxy S24 Ultra poster on Twitter with a QR code that could be used to get a larger picture of the phone, but that tweet has since been deleted. What can be said is that several parts of the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s design have been retained in the new model, and this is a formula that Samsung may use in the future.

Oh, and Samsung can’t do anything about leaks anymore…
