DICE Awards: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 And Baldur’s Gate 3 Won Most Of It!

  • Mobile Game of the Year  – What the Car?

A total of 56 games were nominated in 23 categories, and the awards gala was held on Thursday at the Aria Resort in Las Vegas (where Larian spoke about the state of the games industry, and we’ve already reported on that in the news). The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom did take home an award, as did Alan Wake 2 and Cocoon. The first composer to be inducted into the AIAS Hall of Fame was veteran Nintendo composer Kondo Koji.

Congratulations to all the winners, but it’s clear that Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield was no match for Baldur’s Gate 3. In any case, Larian’s game is so high quality that it was a winner at several events.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
