Game enthusiasts often find and display rare collectibles. A gamer has just revealed a PlayStation 2 console designed to look like a car from Need for Speed: Most Wanted! The Need for Speed game franchise was a staple of the PS2. This incredible console is one of the rarest collector’s items for racing and gaming fans.

First released on October 26, 2000, the PlayStation 2 was Sony’s second console, a direct competitor to Microsoft’s Xbox and Nintendo’s GameCube.

The PS2 became one of the best-selling video game consoles of all time. In addition, it boasted one of the most impressive and popular game libraries of any platform. Fans still praise the PS2 to this day.

PlayStation fan LTRace has shared a series of photos showing a unique PlayStation 2 shaped like a car. The device was initially designed to promote Need for Speed: Most Wanted. The car-shaped PS2 made by Spiritplayers was used as a display piece at the Leipzig Games Convention in Germany. A small car key is used to turn on the console. And the disk reader is located under the hood, where the car’s engine would be. Only one of this aesthetic console was ever made. This makes it an incredibly rare piece that is sought after by many collectors. Retro PlayStation 2 merchandise is often shared with the community, although the current condition and whereabouts of this Need for Speed PS2 remain a mystery.
