I can tell you that it really does get deeper into the universe of Sonic. I think 3’s probably the one for all the real diehard Sonic fans. They’re gonna get all of those Easter eggs in it.”

“Jim [Carrey] is incredible, man. What a performance. It’s so great to work against, even though I’m never there with him, but I get to hear his voice. Bomb.”

Knuckles is already in the spotlight before Sonic the Hedgehog 3

As the excitement surrounding Sonic the Hedgehog 3 continues to build, fans of the blue lightning-hedgehog can look forward to something special in the near future. Because Paramount+ will also release the spinoff series Knuckles. Set between Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and the upcoming film; the six-episode series offers a reimagining of the titular character known for his red fur and warrior spirit.

In Knuckles, the echidna warrior takes on a new role as a mentor who introduces Wade (played by Adam Pally) to the ancient arts of his people. The series promises more than just a side story. On the contrary: the full presentation of the main character as he navigates his responsibility and self-discovery.
