Dig VR: Meta Quest-Exclusive Digging in Virtual Reality [VIDEO]

Just Add Water and Wired Productions are bringing construction to VR, but the game will only be released for Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 2; nonetheless, they’re turning a unique idea into a VR experience.

Dig VR captures the sheer joy, adrenaline and frustration of life on an excavator in a thrilling experience for beginners and pros alike. Featuring authentic, immersive controls that replicate the feeling of driving a real-life excavator, it is a light simulation game with a casual arcade twist! Grow your business in the charming town of Diglington, a place where anything can be fixed with the power of an excavator. Take on a variety of jobs for the town’s residents – from traditional construction jobs to more obscure requests!

Along for the ride is Dig FM, your own radio station with a wide variety of music to brighten up your day. Progress from micro to colossal diggers, with a variety of attachments to meet any challenge. Dig in style by unlocking over 70 customization options to match your aesthetic! Play solo or with a friend, take on fast-paced mini-games or relax in Sandbox mode. Then discover a treasure trove of lost treasures in a standalone mode where new items are added regularly. Whether this is your first time behind the wheel of an excavator or you’re already a master, there’s plenty of digging to be done!

Dig VR is the first digging game ever developed exclusively for Meta Quest, with a choice of authentic and simplified controller schemes. It includes a career mode campaign with options for serious and casual players. Unlock new machines and attachments, then personalize your excavator with decals, paint and skins. Play with a friend in select modes and regularly discover new items in Lost Treasure mode.

Dig VR is coming to Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 2. No release date has been announced, but you can add it to your wishlist in the Meta Store.
