Star Wars Outlaws: The Pirate’s Fortune: DLC for Massive’s Game! [VIDEO]

We also found out when we can expect the Nintendo Switch 2 port of Star Wars Outlaws, as Ubisoft has announced that a demo is now available!

Embark on a mysterious adventure with Kay and Nix to explore the Khepi system and learn what it takes to be a true leader. Team up with legendary pirate Hondo Ohnaka and face off against Stinger Tash and her Rokana Raiders as you infiltrate the Khepi Tomb to uncover its secrets and hidden treasures. Along the way, you’ll discover the Miyuki Trade League, which offers new rewards to the Trailblazer in exchange for smuggling dangerous goods across the galaxy. As part of the A Pirate’s Fortune update, all players will receive a gift of Star Wars: Skeleton Crew-inspired cosmetic items, including an outfit for Nix, a trophy for the speeder, and a trinket for both the speeder and the Trailblazer! The gift will appear in the Trailblazer’s delivery crate after you download and install the update.

Star Wars Outlaws hasn’t been a financial success for Ubisoft, with Yves Guillemot’s publisher complaining about the lack of sales for Massive Entertainment. That could change with the Nintendo Switch 2 port, which Ubisoft has announced will be out on September 4, as shown in the second video embedded below. And what about the DLC?

Well, Ubisoft didn’t say much about that, but the company did say that it will be coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC on May 15. On PC, the game is already available on Steam, which shows that the French publisher’s previous attempt (ditching Steam for the Epic Games Store) didn’t quite work out. You can check out the DLC in the first video.

So, in a month’s time, Massive’s DLC will be here, and hopefully it won’t need a lot of tweaking like the developers did after the base game’s launch… at least you’ll be able to try out the base game in demo form.
