Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Is Another Ubisoft Game Coming to Nintendo Switch 2?

Not only is Star Wars Outlaws making a detour to the Japanese company’s yet-to-be-released hybrid console, but another Ubisoft title is also making a foray to the Nintendo Switch for Nintendo 2.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows could be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, according to a new age rating. The Pan-European Game Rating Information (PEGI) website currently lists the best-selling games in its database, and Assassin’s Creed Shadows is currently at the top of the list. The game’s supported formats include PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. Looking at the game’s current page, Switch 2 is not on the list. A possible reason for this is that PEGI may be able to hide the platforms of games in their database if they are not confirmed, and this hidden label somehow appears incorrectly on the main page.

Ubisoft has yet to confirm if Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be coming to Switch 2, but at least they have announced that Star Wars Outlaws will be coming to the big N’s new platform. History is repeating itself, as Ubisoft has certainly been at the forefront of Nintendo Switch support, even with exclusive titles (just think of the two Mario + Rabbids games). Ubisoft has always seemed to be a bigger supporter of the Switch than Electronic Arts (who will probably release a new football game port for the platform again, and then patch it every year).

Despite a tumultuous development that saw numerous delays and pressure from certain corners of the internet over some design decisions, Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been a success for Ubisoft thanks to good reviews and positive feedback from gamers. Last week, it was announced that Assassin’s Creed Shadows is the second bestselling game of the year in the United States, topping the charts in each of its first three weeks. The game has only been beaten by Monster Hunter Wilds in the US so far this year.

The Nintendo Switch 2 port is not official yet!
