The system requirements for Hangar 13 and 2K’s (=Take-Two) game have been released, and they may push you to upgrade your PC.
Here’s what kind of machine you’ll need to run the latest Mafia installment:
Minimum requirements – Medium graphics preset, 1080p resolution:
- 64-bit processor and operating system required

Recommended requirements – High graphics preset, 1440p resolution:
- 64-bit processor and operating system required

This is clearly a big-budget Unreal Engine 5 title—even if it’s launching at just $50. The recommended specs are no joke, especially the whopping 32 GB of RAM. Strangely, they mention both resolution and graphical preset but omit any frame rate estimates. Is the optimization that shaky, or is Denuvo not yet fully integrated? Either way, you’ll need at least a GPU with 8 GB of VRAM and a six-core CPU. An RTX 5060 might cut it, but let’s be real—it’ll already feel outdated when the game drops.
Mafia: The Old Country is set to launch on August 8 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (with Denuvo). The game is a prequel to the franchise.
