If You Can’t Wait for Dune: Awakening, Try a Tabletop RPG! [VIDEO]

You might have missed Funcom’s big beta weekend, but there’s still a way to dive into the Dune universe – just in a different format!

If you missed the Dune: Awakening beta weekend (which is set to end today), there’s still a way to explore the drama and spice of Arrakis through the Dune: Adventures TTRPG for just $1 (around 400 HUF). This weekend, Fanatical is offering a major discount with the Imperium RPG bundle, which includes up to 17 Dune: Adventures books.

Even on the first tier, you get three core books for just $1 — a perfect alternative for budget-conscious players waiting to buy Dune: Awakening. Dune: Adventures is set before House Atreides arrives on Arrakis and, much like the MMO, it gives you the chance to rewrite the Dune timeline. You can either stick to canon by limiting your campaign to pre-Atreides times or create your own House and tell a completely different story of conquest and survival.

The Imperium RPG bundle includes pre-written campaigns, guides, and sourcebooks you can use to build any kind of Dune-themed tabletop adventure. Whether your GPU can’t handle the load of Dune: Awakening or you simply want to spend more time in the deserts of Arrakis, this bundle offers a great way to expand your TTRPG library without draining your wallet.

Dune: Adventures is a great way to bridge the gap until the launch of Dune: Awakening, which is now set to release on June 10 after a slight delay. The game is still available for pre-order, and even comes with a benchmarking tool so you can see whether your PC is ready for Funcom’s ambitious project.
