ATLUS has announced that Persona 4 Revival will launch on February 18, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store. Pre-orders are now available, and the game will also be included with Game Pass.
Persona 4 Revival finally has a release date: ATLUS will bring the revived classic back on February 18, 2027. The game is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, while also arriving through Microsoft’s subscription service. Pre-orders are already open across several physical and digital editions, ranging from the standard version to a much heavier collector’s package.
The story once again takes players to Inaba, the rural Japanese town where quiet everyday life is shattered by a serial killer and the strange legend of the Midnight Channel. The revived RPG still combines a murder investigation, a journey of self-discovery, occult encounters, and the relationship-driven structure that defines Persona. Players begin a new life as a student at Yasogami High School, choosing how to spend their days between classes, club activities, part-time jobs, romance, friendships, and personal growth.
Inaba Looks Beautiful Again, but the Nightmare Still Waits Behind the Fog
Persona 4 Revival is still built around the dual structure that made the original so memorable. By day, players live through the rhythm of rural life: going to school, building relationships, improving skills, and becoming part of Inaba’s community. Beneath that surface, however, a string of murders terrifies the town, with corpses found hanging from buildings and transmission towers on foggy mornings.
At the same time, a disturbing rumor spreads about a television channel that appears only on rainy nights. “They say your soulmate will appear if you stare into a television set on a rainy night…” The investigation soon goes far beyond an urban legend: the protagonist and their allies discover another realm beyond the screen, where they awaken the inner power needed to uncover the truth, known as Persona.
Combat remains turn-based. Players battle Shadows lurking in the other world, exploit elemental weaknesses, knock enemies down, and then join their team for an explosive All-Out Attack. Collecting, equipping, and combining different Personas will once again shape each player’s fighting style, meaning the investigation is backed by tactical preparation and careful party building.

ATLUS will also air a special program called Persona 4 Revival TV on June 18 at 4:00 p.m. PT / 7:00 p.m. ET, and on June 19 at 08:00 JST. The broadcast will take a deeper look at the story, characters, and new elements, with both English and Japanese YouTube streams planned. Persona 4 Revival therefore returns not simply as a visual refresh, but as a modernized revival that brings Inaba’s mystery and nostalgia to current hardware and a new audience.
