[ND 2026] Metaphor: ReFantazio: Atlus’s RPG Won’t Skip Switch 2 Either [VIDEO]

Unfortunately, the physical edition of Atlus’s game will arrive in a gutted state, because they apparently want to cut costs that badly.

From the creators of Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5 comes Metaphor: ReFantazio, a unique fantasy world where we travel with our protagonist alongside our fairy companion Gallica to lift the curse afflicting the kingdom’s missing prince. Control our fate, face our fears, and awaken the power of the magical archetypes sleeping in our hearts. By awakening archetypes, we can release the power needed to synchronize and combine the abilities of unique classes. Strengthen our bonds and build our party to defeat powerful enemies and discover the true nature of the kingdom.

By day, head out on quests, dive into dungeons, and search for treasure. By night, strengthen relationships, build bonds, and increase virtues. Choose our actions carefully, because time management is crucial to reaching our goal. Ride our gauntlet runner to distant dungeons and towns across the vast world. Discover beautiful landscapes accompanied by captivating music, an impressive user interface, and anime cutscenes. The unique combat system, combining turn-based and real-time action, guarantees strategy and excitement at every step. Party customization through archetypes gives us the freedom to shape our adventure according to our own ideas. A mysterious and exciting story unfolds in a world where people must confront their own anxieties. Join the high-stakes Royal Tournament, promising hours of immersive exploration and adventure.

Metaphor: ReFantazio first launched for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, and PlayStation 4 on October 11, 2024. The Nintendo Switch 2 port will be released on November 12. The physical edition will come on a game-key card, meaning the game still has to be downloaded. Atlus’s RPG will also be available in a limited SteelBook Edition.

At least this can help pass the time while the audience waits for Atlus’s other IP, the Persona series, because Persona 6 is on the way.
