MOVIE NEWS – Bob Odenkirk, once a comedian and sitcom actor (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul), became a bona fide action star with Nobody, and now he’s looking to conquer new platforms. He means this quite literally—he joked about killing Mario, one half of the Super Mario Brothers. “I’d rip his mustache off and shove it down his throat,” Odenkirk told Eurogamer at San Diego Comic-Con, where he’s promoting Nobody 2. The idea’s a bit wild, but there’s a certain logic: action movie fans and gamers overlap a lot, and they love dark humor.

“It’ll be bloody, really bloody,” Odenkirk teased about this dark future, explaining why he’d be so eager to take out the beloved plumber. “It’s the smile. I don’t like his smile—too innocent.”

The plot of the upcoming Nobody 2 is summed up by IGN: our hero goes on vacation and kills everyone. To top it off, Sharon Stone plays the main villain, and Christopher Lloyd returns as our aging but steady-handed dad.
