Nintendo announced the day when they would hold a Switch-presentation. During this event, we’ll learn a lot of new information about the console/handheld hybrid, which was previously known as the NX.
Although only the press, the partners, the analysts, and a few invited people will be attending the event personally, Nintendo will live stream the „Switch-show” on January 12, which is on a Thursday.
During the stream, we’ll learn about the Switch‘s price, the exact release date, and we’ll also see a few of the upcoming/launch titles as well. How many third-party games will be shown? The Switch‘s success relies a lot on how much outsider developers/publishers are interested in developing for the Nintendo platform.
Nintendo has expectations – according to Wall Street Journal’s Takashi Mochizuki, the company plans to ship two million consoles by the end of March. (Mind you, the Switch should be out in March…)
While we don’t know the price, Tatsumi Kimishima, Nintendo’s president, says that they will not lose money on each sold console.
The situation tightens…
