Shattered Alliances, Part 5 – the soap opera continues, folks!

The background story development has been a pivotal part of the game’s pre-release marketing by both NetherRealm and Warner. This time, we learn about Brainiac and his motives… if we can call „I landed on Earth, now it’s time to destroy everything because I feel like it” a motive. (What would he rule on the planet if everything is destroyed, though?)

He likes shrinking major cities to put them into bottles. Now, if he corks these bottles, the citizens will all suffocate, but aside from that train of thought, it’s a… unique way of finding a hobby. Brainiac also did this to one of the cities, Kandor, on Superman’s home planet, Krypton.

Injustice 2 is out on May 16 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
