Ghost Recon: Wildlands Will Likely NOT Get A Battle Royale Game Mode Shortly!

The French publisher believes that one of their games are unlikely to follow the still widely successful PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ genre or style.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands, which yesterday was in the news for another reason (namely Sam Fisher of Splinter Cell fame showing up in the game for a mission), is unlikely to follow Fortnite/PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds if we can believe this reply on Twitter. A fan had a question if Ubisoft can utilize the Bolivian landscape for a one hundred player multiplayer game mode.

„We understand the allure of the Battle Royale game mode and while it may seem like a natural direction for Ghost War. However, it would involve changes in the game structure and technical challenges that are simply impossible to undertake right now,” the reply says.

That „right now” term must have been used intentionally in the response. That’s all we say…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
