The adventure set in the Viking era is going to take a trip to the Nintendo Switch.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice‘s success might have played a role in Microsoft acquiring its developer, Ninja Theory (who previously worked on DmC: Devil May Cry as well). The „AA” game (as it was nor an AAA, neither an indie title) came out in August 2017 on PlayStation 4 and PC (when we reviewed it, too – you can read our review here, followed by an Xbox One port in April 2018, and there’s also VR support (except on the Xbox).
During the Nintendo Direct, a Nintendo Switch port was announced for Senua, who is suffering from psychosis. The port is coming in just a few months!
Unfortunately, we don’t know an exact release date yet, as Ninja Theory and Nintendo announced a „Spring” release window. Again, we embedded a clip from the Nintendo Direct, and it doesn’t look ugly at all!
If there ever will be a sequel, we don’t think the possible Hellblade 2 would ever get a port outside the Xbox and the PC…
