New Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy Trailer Shows Teamwork and a Mysterious Character [VIDEO]

Ahead of its October 26 release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC, Eidos-Montréal has released the official launch trailer for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, giving us one last glimpse before the game’s release into some of the adrenaline-pumping clashes the team will get into during their adventures.

Like many previous trailers, this latest one introduces players to some of the many characters players will encounter throughout the adventure. These include the Hellraisers, the Universal Church of Truth and some scary-looking enemies.

Alongside the new faces, we’ll also see more gameplay and a closer look at some of the abilities that characters like Drax and Gamora will have. Of course, Guardians of the Galaxy couldn’t exist without teamwork, which is showcased in the trailer with various short clips showing how team combat works.

“Though their differences often get them into trouble, on the battlefield, each Guardian contributes something special to the team”, reads the synopsis of how the gameplay works in the upcoming game. “The explosive Rocket is well equipped to deal damage over an impressive area of effect, Groot provides unrivalled defensive support, Drax bursts through any resistance headfirst, and Gamora lends the team a scythe with her quick and precise swordplay. As Star-Lord, players will take control of the battle and events on the battlefield and throughout the story.
