SPOTIFY – Show Banga is a young rap artist from San Fransisco.  He made many singles and eps before not so long ago and you might know him from the artists of The California Bay Area. His music style can be considered as “hip-hop” but in “Banga-Tracks” there are a lot of R&B elements which can make the songs more colorful.

 

Show Banga’s releases before had average success, he wasn’t really innovative in his tracks. The “major” change came in Mayor 4 Life, Banga’s new album.

“I made it! I made it!”

Mayor 4 Life is an enjoyable product from Show Banga, the beats can lift your spirit, and Banga’s melodies will put you in a good mood. But if you want to release a song (of whatever style) you need to be aware of ONE ingredient. (An ingredient which a lot of artists, all around the world can forget easily.) It is called: HARMONY. Every music need it same as the the audience…

However the biggest problem with Mayor 4 Life are the lyrics. If someone wants to be a successful musician or artist, he should to know how to innovate. If you make a track and your topic doesn’t contain new features, new insights you will be fail. Why? The audience don’t want to hear the same kind of song again and again, because they want to hear new songs with new content instead of something which they heard already millions of times.

Co-operative bros

Show Banga is a talented artist but he should to make his solo trucks more powerful, more sophisticated. In Mayor 4 Life you can hear Banga’s rhymes in some solo tracks, but these are very weak… I thought I will fall asleep when Banga tried to drag me to his “personal world”… It’s a whole different story when his “gang” is there as well, they are successful at bringing me in their world, when other members of this team are there as well.  Maybe Show Banga should forget solo, since he is more talented if he’s in a team.

Half Success is better than nothing

At all Mayor 4 Life is a great release from Show Banga. After your daily work, when you going home these songs can make you feel all-powerful and give you a lot of energy. Mayor 4 Life never will be our favorite release but it can be stand on our “listenable” selection.  In the music industry you can’t be successful if you can’t show a perspective, a brand new style to your audience.
