[TGS] A new Resident Evil game announced, but not what we waited for! [VIDEO]

Capcom is going to celebrate Resident Evil‘s (or in Japan, Biohazard‘s) twentieth anniversary, and they announced a new game in the franchise during the Tokyo Game Show. The problem is, it’s not the kind of a game we have been waiting for – in fact, the Resident Evil fans are likely going to be pissed off after seeing this game…

This is Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps, and two of our editors have described it in a short, yet understandable manner. „It’s a Dead Space-Call of Duty Zombies mode clone mixed together in a Resident Evil universe, terrible!” It’s pretty much a competitive multiplayer game, using both TPS and FPS views. This is why we think it’s a clone of the two aforementioned games/franchises, although this game will only use a Unity engine.

Plus it’s more like an Operation Raccoon City sequel, as there are more classes and characters, so teamwork is likely going to be involved. No offense, but this PlayStation 4/PC game, launching in early 2016 is not something that Capcom can be proud of. We expected a new RE 0 HD trailer, but no, nothing…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
