United States: The PlayStation 4 won September as well

We just received the sales information from NPD about the consoles’ performance in the United States in September. We’re not exaggarating, if we say that we expected this to happen, although we find the October victor questionable – that’s still far from finished, so let’s focus on the present.

According to both the NPD and Sony, the PlayStation 4 was the best selling console in September, making it 8 months out of 9 so far – the Xbox One won in April. Although we didn’t think of Sony winning the remaining three months of the year with ease, there is some potential in this stiill happening.

Seeing how the PS4 got the price cut in North America as well, the interest will get another boost for the console. The bundles can also help sell more, as was the case in September in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and Destiny: The Taken King. We don’t see a new bundle for October, but November will bring us a Call of Duty: Black Ops III and a Star Wars Battlefront package too. We’ll see who will win!

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
