Sony is surveying for the next big PS4 update

While the PlayStation 4 is continuously receiving updates via firmwares, Sony also plans to give a hardware boost for their console (and we wrote about it over the course of the weekend). Software-wise, we can expect some great additions… if those get voted for the top spots. What exactly are we talking about here?

Sony has sent an invite-only survey to some members to see what the users would like to see the most in the 4.0 firmware update for the PS4. You can take a look at the exact options below, and you might see some really good ideas here… as well as some of the things that the BetterPSN campaign – started by the users – was trying to go for earlier in 2015. But wait, there’s another twist to this thing…

They also ask when this 4.0 firmware update should even launch! The bold move in this that Sony gave a 2015 option, which would be pretty insane, seeing how the 3.0 update barely started a month ago out of beta! This is promising for both us and the console’s features as well.
