PlayStation Store: The top PS4 games and DLCs in October

Our laziness, the fast internet – depending on location – and the technical developments really made us get some of the games in digital format via the PlayStation Store. Sony published a top list about the best selling games for October. Let’s take a look at the most successful PlayStation 4 games then!

1      Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

2      UNCHARTED The Nathan Drake Collection

3      NBA 2K16

4      Destiny

5      Minecraft: Story Mode – Episode 1: The Order of the Stone

6      EA SPORTS FIFA 16

7      Grand Theft Auto V

8      Rocket League

9      Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition

10     WWE 2K16

11     Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture

12     METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

13     Madden NFL 16

14     DISGAEA 5: ALLIANCE OF VENGEANCE

15     Metro Redux

16     Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor

17     Outlast

18     Tales of Zestiria

19     Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition

20     DRAGON QUEST HEROES: The World Tree’s Woe

Despite launching close to the end of October, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate swiped the top spot away, followed by Nathan Drake‘s trilogy and NBA 2K16, which is a huge success in the United States (and, according to some NeoGAF estimations, it completely obliterated EA Sports’ NBA Live 16 too). November will be totally ruled by Call of Duty: Black Ops III and Star Wars Battlefront.

Sony also published a list with the bestseller DLCs as well, let’s take a look:

1      Rocket League – Back to the Future Car Pack

2      Rocket League – Revenge of the Battle-Cars

3      The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited – ESO Plus

4      The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Hearts of Stone

5      Destiny: The Taken King

6      Rocket League – Supersonic Fury

7      Batman: Arkham Knight GCPD Lockdown

8      Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – Reckoning

9      DISGAEA 5: ALLIANCE OF VENGEANCE Season Pass

10     The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Expansion Pass

Rocket League took the top two spots, beating home The Elder Scrolls Online and surprisingly, Geralt didn’t end up on the podium and also, Destiny: The Taken King was also pushed off the podium places. Still, you can see the usual suspects here.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
