Medieval melee for the third time – Chivalry: Medieval Warfare gets a PS4 port [VIDEO]

Tom Banner Studios doesn’t leave Chivalry: Medieval Warfare alone. After releasing the game originally on the PC in 2012, a PS3/Xbox 360 port followed in the end of 2014 and the early months of 2015 with the help of Activision, who now push the game even further, as it’s receiving a PS4/Xbox One port very shortly. With this move, the game gets a third release (excluding the Mac/Linux!) in just three years, which is unbelievable!

The game will show up on PlayStation Store on December 2; it comes with a 24-player multiplayer, 25 maps, dedicated server support, and an up to six-player horde mode in a medieval melee combat style, which allows you to change between first and third person view at will. There’s also going to be an Ultimate Edition too, which will contain all the DLCs on top of the main game.

The game itself is not bad, but for us, it just looks like Activision wants to push more money into their safes again; we believe it’s not going to be much more than just a shoddy current-gen port.
