Resident Evil for PlayStation 4 – Ominous signs

We know about Capcom‘s strategy: their business strategy will have a big focus on HD remasters/ports/re-releases. Despite that, we are somewhat surprised to see their stealth rating of this game, without notifying anyone in the process. The rated Biohazard (or, as the image below states, Biohazarz) 6 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but in South Korea, where the console announcement of the first Revelations game came out from! Biohazard? That’s the Asian title of Resident Evil, so don’t worry about that.

It seems Capcom is going to follow Square Enix – while the latter company pushes Final Fantasy’s several former episodes on current-gen platforms, the former one does the same with Resident Evil and Mega Man. While we’re waiting for the O HD Remaster, Capcom is also working on 2’s Remake, and you can add the sixth game’s port to the list. Of course, Capcom had no comment about this subject.

Just one question remains: why does this game get a current-gen port when it’s not even three years old?

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
