Rainbow Six Siege: The open beta is postponed – what a fail!

There are more problems with Ubisoft‘s upcoming game, Rainbow Six Siege. This time around, the French company’s user-friendly approach is causing them headaches: they wanted to have a free, open beta on all three platforms (PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC) between November 25 and November 29. The problem is, this is not going to happen, or at least, not during the originally planned days.

Although a new beta timeframe wasn’t announced, the open beta received a delay, because matchmaking times and disconnecting from servers aren’t working as they normally should. For Ubisoft, this is the top priority now: the issues must be fixed as soon as possible not to have a *gasp* delay!

There’s a question, though. Rainbow Six Siege‘s launch day – after a delay – is December 1. That isn’t even a week away now! How can you even delay the open beta this way? Will it be shorter by a day or two? Will the game itself be delayed by a week to December 8?
