The Order: 1886 devs: „We have to make a better game”

The Order: 1886 can be named as one of the disappointments of the year. While it was graphically impressive to say the least, it was extremely short with a very cliffhanger-like ending. We still feel shocked about how abruptly Ready at Dawn‘s game ended. The developers know that they have to do better than that.

Andrea Pessino, co-founder of Ready at Dawn, knows very well that The Order wasn’t that good (in fact, it’s sometimes called as a PS4-tech demo). One of his hobbies is bodybuilding – despite being 49 years old, he is in excellent shape! He uploaded a video about it on Twitter, and he got a response that he should show it to the reviewers of The Order. His reply was short and simple: „I don’t think it would have made much of a difference… 🙂 We just have to have to make a better game next time, and we will.” Of course, he can’t say what projects are in progress. Plural? Yes: there are several games in development at Ready at Dawn apparently.

Let’s see what E3 2016 will bring us then! That’s probably going to have a Ready at Dawn announcement.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
