Psychonauts to receive a PlayStation 4 release

It seems like it’s impossible to get Tim Schafer away from PlayStation-related events. Aside from seeing almost his entire classic portfolio moving to the PS4 (Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, Day of the Tentacle, not to mention his recent Broken Age, et cetera…), Double Fine‘s one of the earlier games Psychonauts will also take the trip towards the PlayStation 4.

While the sequel is also in development, not to mention the PS VR game in the franchise, we might prepare for the sequel by playing the first game. It hit the PS2 in the summer of 2005. Double Fine confirmed the PS4 release, although it is not clear whether we’ll get the PC port or a PS2-emulation with higher resolution and trophies (which would make the price around 10-15 dollars). It’s going to be available in the spring.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
