Tomb Raider’s second lead developer leaves the sinking ship of Crystal Dynamics!

Well, well, look at that: another lead figure leaves Crystal Dynamics behind! In December, Darrell Gallagher, the head of the studio decided to quit the work at the Tomb Raider reboot’s developer. Now, the director of Rise of the Tomb Raider, namely Brian Horton leaves the team behind and start work elsewhere!

While it might be a little farfetched, the reason behind Horton’s leave might be simply because of money as he joined Infinity Ward to work on a new, unannounced game. Oh, what a surprise, what could it be? Maybe the next Call of Duty? (It’s IW’s turn this year, so that makes sense.)

Horton worked on other good games, like the first PS1 installment of Medal of Honor, Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb, or F.E.A.R. 3, just to mention a few examples.

Still, we would like to wish the best for Brian Horton – we’re worried about Crystal Dynamics, though. Us PS4 players still have to wait until November to play Rise of the Tomb Raider

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
