This car will be the „face” of Assetto Corsa [VIDEO]

Assetto Corsa is being developed for consoles at the moment at Kunos Simulazioni. It launched on PC at the end of 2014. The newest information about the upcoming simulator reveals the official release date of the game as well as the cover car for the physical version of Assetto Corsa.

The slogan is „Your Racing Simulator” – it’s a bold move on the developers’ end. The game is going to turn towards the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on April 22. The cover art will feature the Ferrari FXX-K. It’s an Italian vehicle, so the devs picked a local car. It’s a very aggressive hybrid, which tears the asphalt like no tomorrow, though. Over 90 cars on over 20 track configurations. Project CARS will receive a significant opponent in the Spring, even if some places called Corsa nothing more than a „simcade”.

Only one thing should be the primary focus for Kunos Simulazioni: they have to get the game to run on 60 frames per second. Project CARS pulled it off so they must get a similar performance on the table. If they can provide this for us, we will see a sparkling duel between the two games shortly.
