Saints Row Undercover: This is the cancelled PSP chaos [VIDEO]

Volition continuously made Saints Row crazier with later installments. The second episode wasn’t that insane as say, the fourth one, but the developers had plans with this game. There were plans for a PlayStation Portable version (back then, there was no PS Vita yet!), which ended up getting cancelled in 2009. The publisher, THQ requested Volition to work on a mobile version of the successful Saints Row 2. Originally, the game was called Saints Row: The Fall before it got renamed to Saints Row Undercover. They didn’t think it was a high enough quality product, which eventually ended up in a PSP devkit in a storage room for several years.

Volition now shows the game off in a video, in which the team talks about how they started – and ended – work on this game seven years ago. This GTA-clone in handheld form will be shown in a live stream on January 28, at 2 PM PT, 5 PM Eastern on this page.

Maybe it would be a good idea for them to give the prototype out for free, so the fans can finish it up, wouldn’t it?

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
