Telltale‘s hype machine is working on maximum rev, but they are hyping us about The Walking Dead in a somewhat annoying fashion. While the TV-series are about to continue next week with the second half of the sixth season, there’s also going to be an announcement by Telltale about the three-episode spinoff featuring Michonne as well.

Most likely they will start out by telling us when the first Michonne episode launches with a trailer (and knowing Telltale, they might get it out to the public a week later). Next up, giving away a clue in the third, final episode that it’s coming, the third season is finally under development! Speaking of Season 3, we don’t know how Clementine‘s decision at the end of the second year will affect the storyline. This decision will make the development interesting if the story will continue just shortly after our choice.

Telltale got what they wanted: they got hyped – after Game of Thrones, Tales from the Borderlands and Minecraft Story Mode, they are returning to the zombies.
