Naughty Dog used an artwork from Ubisoft! [VIDEO]

Naughty Dog, the developers of Uncharted 4, made a huge mistake yesterday. While the stolen artwork isn’t significant to the trailer as a whole, Ubisoft members quickly spotted their work in the story trailer of Nathan Drake’s finale!

A small explanation: stop the first video at 1:36. This framed picture doesn’t look important, but this is the deal: it’s an Assassin’s Creed artwork, only with the Assassin removed from it! AC IV: Black Flag’s director, Ashraf Ismail told Naughty Dog „Umm… thanks for the homage?” as well as jokingly state that he now understands the word “thief” in the game’s title. Ubisoft Montreal boss Alex Hutchinson told his former employee, current Naughty Dog worker that „doing your own concept art is twice the work? ;)”.

Naughty Dog messed up, and they quickly apologized for their stealing while also replacing the trailer. However, we have both versions for you. You can see the original above the updated trailer. While Uncharted 4‘s story trailer is exciting, this event is still a failure for Naughty Dog!
