We already know one of the April PlayStation Plus games!

Despite barely one week into March, one of the next month’s PlayStation Plus games is already officially confirmed by Sony. You read that right: one of the free PS Plus games on the PlayStation 4 has been revealed with more than three weeks until the next lineup is announced.

It started out with a simple, harmless pre-ordering of Dead Star. However, a message popped up saying that while the devs appreciate pre-ordering the game, the money will be refunded due to the upcoming title being a free PlayStation Plus game in April! Oh, how one purchase turned into an announcement… you can see the full message below the article.

Dead Star, a multiplayer space shooter with players controlling space ships in procedurally generated environments, will launch on April 5 in the same fashion as Rocket League did last July. The game is going to be a free PlayStation Plus game out of the box.

We haven’t seen an announcement like that before…
