Train Accident Because Of Games?

In February, there was a fatal train accident in the Bavarian region of Germany. Prosecutors stated something extraordinary after investigating what happened two months ago.

According to them, a „computer game” caused the accident. The train’s controller was playing a game on his mobile phone, but he made a signalling error and called the wrong emergency number. Therefore, near Bad Aibling on February 9, at 6:48 AM, two trains hit each other at 60 miles per hour, killing 11 people. The train’s controller might end up in jail for five years because of involuntary manslaughter. Investigations state that the mobile game distracted him too much, and he wasn’t able to stop the train that ran onto a single track, which was used by another train from the other direction.

Do not game and drive. The game can wait until you get home. If a sandwich drops on you while playing, it’s no problem, but if you drop your car into a ditch nearby the autobahn (to stay in German territories), it might kill you…
