Bioshock Creator Is In The Twilight Zone!

Bioshock wasn’t in our consoles for a few years – last time, its third installment, Infinite is now three years old, and we don’t expect a new game at the moment. Ken Levine, one of the key figures behind the franchise, thinks similarly, as he started work on a different project.

Interactivity – this is something that Levine is going towards with his new idea, which is an adaptation of The Twilight Zone. He is going to be the writer and director. In his interview with Wired, he said „Playing my games; you can probably tell Twilight Zone is something I grew up with. They speak to a larger truth. They’re morality plays, fables, and often they’re about a character who is going through an experience that’s central to their life but also speaks to a larger part of the human condition. I don’t think [Rod] Serling, in the beginning, set out to be a science-fiction writer. But he found that this is a great medium to do metaphor.”

Interlude, who has been involved in interactive videos (recently they worked on Bob Dylan’s Like a Rolling Stone) will also help Ken Levine. We can’t wait to see what the results will be.

Anikó, our news editor and communication manager, is more interested in the business side of the gaming industry. She worked at banks, and she has a vast knowledge of business life. Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
