More Than One Call Of Duty Game This Year?

For 2016, Activision seems to plan a bigger offensive with Call of Duty than the usual. While we get to know more about the unannounced Infinite Warfare that the first trailer could show on possibly Tuesday, there is a strong chance of something else also happening behind the scenes – something that this franchise hasn’t tried to do yet.

First off, we would start with this image that both Destructoid and Polygon has written about. Infinity Warfare – OK. Legacy Edition – Alright. November 4, 2016 – that seems normal. Wait, what’s that under the date? Modern Warfare Remastered. Is Activision starting to modernize, re-release older installments? Yes! Call of Duty’s official Twitter account responded to a 2014 (!) tweet which said that the user is going to cr_p his pants in excitement if he hears the term CoD4 PS4 remaster with a poop and pants emoji. Suspicious, isn’t it?

There’s even more to it: Amazon UK listed something called Call of Duty Modern Warfare Trilogy – so they might port all three of them over to PS4, and X1? We’ll see shortly.
