Kojima Productions Got A Body! Wait, What?

2015 had a long story about Hideo Kojima and Konami – the two parties have been in an argument for multiple months. The story ended with Kojima moving over to Sony, where he revived his team called Kojima Productions. So far, we only saw the logo’s head.

However, Kojima now revealed not only the whole body but the character also got christened. It is now called LUDENCE.

He also pointed out that they will still aim to create games with cutting-edge technology and equipment. We already have a suspicion what they will end up using, but we will get back to that later.

Kojima also pointed out that LUDENCE wears an EVA creative suit. That is an excellent reference to Metal Gear Solid 3 and 4 – what a brilliant way to uppercut your former employer!

But back to the technology topic, what is it going to be? Seeing how Kojima visited DICE after eight (!) years, also taking a photo at the Frostbite logo, there is a strong chance that their AAA action game (this genre is confirmed!) might use the latest iteration of the Frostbite engine.
