God Of War IV Without Kratos?

God of War is getting closer and closer to be probably announced by Sony at E3, but the Japanese company might do so with a twist.

We have heard rumors about God of War IV in development; in fact, we have seen the protagonist as well in an image gallery. However, he might not be called Kratos, despite this name having been a staple in the franchise’s history. Shinobi602, who has been a reliable Sony-insider in the past years, has written on the NeoGAF forums that the question is not whether Sony will announce God of War IV or not, instead, will it feature Kratos or not?

Sony Santa Monica seems to risk it all: they not only plan to replace the location to put the franchise in the North but they also potentially make a new hero beat the living out of his enemies. We’ll see about it in a few days. Something has to replace Horizon: Zero Dawn in 2016, will it be God of War IV?
