The PlayStation Vita Expands Its Library With A Fighting Game! [VIDEO]

It’s not common nowadays to see the PlayStation Vita receive games. However, an SNK title is heading to the handheld (as well as the PlayStation 4)!

Garou: Mark of the Wolves had only three ports in the West: on the Neo Geo (February 2000), the Dreamcast (November 2001), and the Xbox Live Arcade (June 2009), but this 2D fighter is not bad. In fact, it got 8s and 9s on a 1-10 scale back in the day. Do we need to say anything more?

Yes, the release date, for example. We would if we knew it – Sony didn’t announce that yet. What we gathered so far is that Garou will be available digitally, and the port is being handled by Code Mystics. These folks were responsible for the PlayStation ports for Super Star Wars, or Metal Slug 3, to name a few. Garou will be cross-buy, cross-play (!), and it will also have online multiplayer. Other extras include the original soundtrack and a Gallery Mode.

Not too shabby for the first details. Until then, here’s a video of the Neo Geo version.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
