DriveClub VR Will Not Be Free – What’s The Price?

We learned how much DriveClub‘s PlayStation VR version would cost. It’s not cheap!

We’ve seen with Star Wars Battlefront or Call of Duty that the VR-exclusive mission/game mode will be free for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR-owners. The same statement can’t be applied to DriveClub VR, though.

DriveClub VR‘s price will be forty dollars/euros on both the PlayStation Store and in retail stores. What about those who own the Season Pass? They also have to open the wallets: the price for them will be chopped in half: twenty dollars/euros. It’s still considerably high.

If Sony told us what the difference between the original PlayStation 4 version and the PSVR edition would be, we’d think about picking DriveClub VR up… but for now, it looks like a risky purchase.

As a launch title, DriveClub VR arrives on October 13.
