Before the official announcement by Blizzard, players already found out the developers’ plans.

The data mining results surfaced on Reddit, and going by the differences in the theme tune, you can expect a Christmas switch up here. Listen:

After the Summer Olympic Games and Halloween, Christmas looks to be on schedule for the shooter: August, October, December. (Next up, Valentine’s Day in February?) In the Christmas event, we can expect new decorations on the maps, the heroes receive new skins, sprays, and icons, too.

On PC, the Public Test Realm already has the revamped Symmetra (two Ultimates, the first for any character in the game – other details are found in the videos below!), there’s a new function called Stay as Team. With it, if we found strangers that are great partners in our team, we can stay together for the next match. We wonder why Blizzard implemented this roughly six months after the game’s release.

Overwatch continues to improve and impress.
