[PSX 2016] WipEout Omega Collection Goes 4K At 60 FPS [VIDEO]

Three WipEout games in one package – Introducing the Omega Collection.

The WipEout series has become one of the PlayStation classics with the futuristic races, so no wonder that Sony has gone back to the past (as they have done with a few other titles recently): HD, Fury, and 2048 all get a revamp. 4K resolution, HDR, and sixty frames per second are on the cards for the drivers that require an adrenaline bomb.

Nine game modes, twenty-six unique tracks, and forty-six vehicles total, allowing us to use all of them in both online and local multiplayer – the recipe looks good, and we can see how the collection ends up during the summer of next year.

Perhaps Omega Collection is meant to be a test for Sony to see if there’s demand for a new installment?

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
