SEGA’s Two Franchises Aim At The TV!

Two classic names might return in the form of cinematic and TV-adaptations.

SEGA‘s past includes Streets of Rage and Altered Beast, and both have been „dead” for a while. According to Variety, Stories International, jointly owned by SEGA and Hakuhodo DY Holdings, has struck a deal with Circle of Confusion. This company has been responsible for Fear the Walking Dead, but they also have some experience with movies (Spare Parts, Mr. Right).

SEGA is thinking about other franchises, too (Golden Axe, Virtua Fighter, The House of the Dead, Crazy Taxi), and the company also put Marc Platt, producer of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, to work on Shinobi.

Capcom and SEGA effectively announced their return to the past on one day, although the latter team isn’t trying to make new games and just aim for the TV instead…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
