An Ex-Crytek Employee Is Crowdfunding A Lawsuit

A few Crytek employees have had enough of the company’s current situation.

Ludvig Lindqvist was an FX artist until December 2016 when he decided to resign due to not being paid for two months. In fact, he was so angry at the situation that he launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover his legal fees in a lawsuit against his former employer. His standing isn’t rosy: so far, only 11 people donated a total of 160 euros… out of 20.000. Since May, Lundqvist’s pay was delayed, as shown on a graph on the site as well.

In case he ends up collecting more than the target, Lundqvist will spend the extra cash on covering other employee’s legal costs and donate to charities such as Special Effect and Able Gamers.

If some (ex-)employees are this much fed up with Crytek dragging its feet, then the company, known for the first Far Cry and the Crysis games, might be very close to be shut down…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
