Final Fantasy’s Creator To Reveal His New Game Shortly

The savior of Square will announce his latest project in 2017.

Hironobu Sakaguchi was one of the designers behind Final Fantasy – without him, Square would have gone bankrupt in late 1987, but seeing how the franchise became a worldwide phenomenon (even having multiple spin-off series under its belt), he can be credited as the creator of the series.

According to Japanese 4Gamer, Sakaguchi, who left Square Enix in the 2000s to create Mistwalker which developed games such as Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, The Last Story, and Terra Battle, will reveal his new, unannounced game next year.

Mistwalker is experienced in mobile game development as well (aside from Terra Battle, Party Wave is also available on both iOS and Android), so there’s a chance that his new game will be targeted at these two platforms.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
