Postal Goes Open Source!

Running With Scissors has opened up the first Postal‘s source code.

Before Grand Theft Auto, there was Postal, which was both successful and shocking almost two decades ago. Earlier in 2016, it received an HD remaster, but that didn’t stop the developers from caring about the original.

On Bitbucket, you can get the game’s source code under the GPL2 license, which will likely give a new life to the original Postal. Running With Scissors previously admitted that they’d be happy to see the game ported over to the long dead (but still widely respected) SEGA Dreamcast, as written on their blog.

This approach is an example of how you do not forget about your past.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
